Born in 1962, Shona Kinloch (RGI MRSS) studied at The Glasgow School of Art from 1980-85 B.A.(Hons) Fine Art (Sculpture), Post Graduate Diploma (Sculpture).
In 1988, her profile was raised when she made “Seven Glasgow Dogs” for the Glasgow Garden Festival, which resulted in a long list of public and private commissions.
She has public works throughout the UK and further afield (including on five Royal Caribbean cruise liners).
She is the winner of several awards including the Saltire Society Art in Architecture Award (1992) and the Association of Landscape Industries Sculpture Award (1999).
Shona has a long history of exhibiting in Compass Gallery, when she was first invited to exhibit in The New Generation Show in 1985, followed by ‘5 Girls from Glasgow’ in 1990, and she has participated in numerous mixed exhibitions with us since then.
