Deirdre Nicholls

A Scots/Irish artist born in Edinburgh, Deirdre trained at Liverpool and Winchester Schools of Art in the 1970's where she was taught by renowned artists such as William Crozier, William Pye, Patrick Heron and Norman Ackroyd.

An early winner of the Northern Young Contemporaries prize, she has exhibited widely including at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition (2023), The Royal Scottish Academy Annual Exhibition (2024) and The Royal Ulster Academy, (2024-25). Her work is in both private and public collections including The University of Edinburgh and Glasgow City Chambers.
